Born in Bari, Italy, and trained in classical and jazz music with a Master’s degree in Double Bass from the Royal Conservatory of Brussels, Alessio Campanozzi is a versatile bassist, singer, and composer.
With a background spanning jazz, blues, rock, and classical music, he has collaborated with a wide range of artists and ensembles worldwide, such as Andrea Bocelli (Believe Tour), Antwerp Philharmonic Orchestra, Brussels Philharmonic Orchestra and many jazz ensembles spanning from swing to non-idiomatic improvisation.
His career has taken him to stages both on land and at sea, performing with Princess Cruises and The Ritz-Carlton Yacht Collection.
Beyond the stage, he is an active recording artist and composer, contributing to numerous albums and film scores.
